Head of Operations
You’ll be responsible for scaling United Repair Centre’s operations across Western Europe, turning our growing clothing repair network into a world-class operational system that delivers quality, efficiency, and impact.
Join the United Repair Centre: Repair the Clothing Industry at Scale
At United Repair Centre (URC), we’re on a mission to reshape the clothing industry by extending the life of garments while putting people first. Our growing network of repair hubs serves global brands, reduces textile waste and places craftsmanship and social impact at heart of the clothing industry, while creating meaningful jobs for people distanced from the labour market.
As Head of Operations, you’ll lead the scaling of URC’s repair hubs across Europe — building the systems, teams, and processes that make large-scale circularity possible. You’ll balance strategy with execution, overseeing daily performance while designing the blueprint for our European expansion. You will collaborate closely with the Product and Tech teams to ensure operational processes are digitised, effective, and integrated into daily workflows. We are at the start of scaling URC across Europe. We will expand rapidly with different types of operating models, varying from flagship repair hubs to a potential franchise model. You will co-design this scaling approach, ensuring it is executed with both our core values and performance in mind. Today, we operate two hubs (Amsterdam & London) with over 60 repair specialists. We will open our third hub in Paris in Q4 2025 and aim to grow to 5+ hubs across Europe in the next 3 years.
You’ll be part of the Leadership, working closely with the founders and fellow management team members to shape URC’s future, balancing impact, operational excellence, and financial sustainability. This position is designed as a stepping stone to become URC’s Chief Operating Officer within 18–24 months, based on growth milestones.
