About United Repair Centre

At URC, we’re on a mission to change the clothing industry. As a social enterprise, we deliver high-quality garment repairs for some of the world’s leading brands, while also creating employment and training opportunities for people distanced from the labour market. 

The Role

We’re looking for a bright, motivated intern to join our team and someone who enjoys learning more about engaging with brands, telling our story, and growing the repair movement.

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll contribute to marketing, brand communication, and partnership activities. Every day is different, and you’ll be a key part of our mission to make repair the new cool.

What You’ll Do

• Support marketing campaigns and content creation across platforms (social, newsletter, presentations)

• Assist in the coordination of communication with brand partners

• Help plan and execute events and campaigns related to repair and circularity

• Conduct research to identify new partnership opportunities across the fashion sectors

• Take part in brainstorming, internal workshops, and team meetings

• Pitch in wherever needed — from designing visuals to helping prep for industry

• Reporting to the Marketing + Communications Manager and working closely with the Connect team, which is in touch with new potential brand partners, showcases

You are:

• Currently studying marketing, communications, or a related field

• A strong communicator with excellent writing skills (English is a must, Dutch is a big plus)

• A creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

• Confident using social media platforms and tools like Canva, Notion, and Google Workspace

• Genuinely interested in clothing, sustainability, and making a positive social impact

• A true team player who’s happy to jump in and help wherever needed

• Available 4 days a week, at least 3 at the office

• Based in or around Amsterdam

• Curious, kind, and excited to be part of a mission-driven organisation
